The back features a prayer that is the creation of the Trickster’s Apothecary and shared through these cards with Pan’s blessing. These prayer cards can be used in the same way saint prayer cards are used in folk magic, as well as for using the image as a focus in meditation and the prayer for communion with Pan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach card measures 4x6 inches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePrayer is the easiest, lowest cost way to connect with a deity, and speaking with them often helps deepen your relationship as it would with any physical person. Pre-written prayers can be used as a chant during meditation, when using prayer beads and rosaries, and as a familiar pathway to connect with a given deity. Freeform prayer in the form of speaking directly to your deity with whatever is on your mind can be uncomfortable if it is not a familiar act. To open that door, we have crafted our prayers to ease anyone into prayer with pagan deities with prayers that are pre-written and have the blessing of the deity they are created for. These sections feature 2 lava rock beads, embodying the foundation of the mountain, framed on either side by 2 unakite beads embodying the foliage that covers the mountains, for a total of 6 beads in each section. The number 6 was chosen for its association with wildness and rule-breaking, both of which being sacred to Pan. There are 4 of these sections with an additional vertical section; 4 was chosen for its connection with stability and endurance, much like the mountains Pan calls home. Between each section is a walnut wood bead framed by gold-plated hematite. Walnut wood was chosen for its connection with witchcraft, which Pan is often the patron of. Hematite was chosen for its grounding qualities. The center cross piece is made from a vintage Avon brooch, with pin removed for safety, depicting acorns rendered with glass pearls. Pan has many connections with the ocean and its landlocked cousins, sacred springs; this connection is honored in the pearls themselves. Acorns embody the potential for growth nurtured by wildness so close to Pan's essence. The pendant itself shows a lovingly rendered goat, Pan's sacred animal, in a copper tone frame. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDue to the vintage nature of the components included, this rosary is one of a kind, and cannot be replicated. If it calls to you, be sure to snag it, as there will not be another one made available. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis rosary measures 23.5 inches in the portion designed to be worn around the neck and 12.5 inches from the top of the crosspiece to the bottom of the pendant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are a variety of metals included in this piece, including: gold-tone stainless steel and lead\/nickel free alloys. Gold-tone stainless steel is tarnish-resistant and will withstand greater exposure to sunlight and water, however, tarnishing of other metals in the necklace can be avoided with care. To avoid tarnishing, avoid contact with liquids whenever possible and let any cosmetics, lotions, or perfumes\/colognes dry completely before putting on your necklace. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keeping your jewelry in a sealed container, such as a jewelry box or plastic bag, can prevent tarnishing by limiting exposure to air, sunlight, heat, and moisture. This is best done if air is pushed out of any plastic bag before sealing and with something included to remove moisture, such as a silica pack or anti-tarnish strip.
