Aphrodite Anadyomene Scrying Mirror

Aphrodite Anadyomene refers to a representation of the Goddess of Love emerging from the sea foam and riding on a scallop shell. Aphrodite was born out of the Primordial Waters before the beginning of the world and into a sunless sky of perpetual night; she is no stranger to the Darkness that holds Wisdom and can be your guide as you seek your answers. As the shell offers protection that allows sea creatures to traverse the dark depths of the ocean safely, so too can Aphrodite shelter and protect us as we scry. While we usually associate pearls with oysters, any shelled mollusk can produce pearls when an irritant is caught in their shell; just as any person, when they feel safe, can turn grit that would do them harm into a pearl. With Aphrodite's guidance, scry into the Watery Deep to do shadow work and find the answers that teach you to turn painful grit into a pearl.

We have 3 styles available: Ammonite, Scallop, and Clam.
Our Ammonite frame features a carved motif of ammonite shells in relief; it is 6x6 inches and the scrying surface measures 2.75x275 inches.
Our Scallop frame features a carved motif of scallop shells in relief; it is 6x6 inches and the scrying surface measures 2.75x2.75 inches.
Our Clam frame is both vintage and handmade, with real shells attaches to the ceramic frame and handmade paper serving as the backing, shown in the photos above; it is 7.5x7.5 inches and the scrying surface measures 3.25x3.25 inches.

All our scrying mirrors are prepared magically and with intention throughout each step of the crafting process. We begin preparing our materials by cleansing each element with a hand-blended mix of purifying waters. Once the scrying surface has been prepared, it is first marked with a handcrafted bindrune to promote psychic clarity and protection. This bindrune is carefully blended into the deep black of the scrying mirror using 3 separate layers of paint. This ensures an evenly black surface while infusing the mirror with the magic of the number 3, known for its mystical properties, and gently diffusing the magic of the bindrune throughout the entire scrying surface. Once each element has been lovingly prepared and assembled, every mirror is washed with a tea for increased psychic clarity and protection made from hand-blended mixture of herbs centering around Mugwort.

The frame measures 6.25 x 6 inches and the scrying mirror measures 3.5 inches in diameter.
