Aphrodite Antheia Scrying Mirror

Our Aphrodite Antheia scrying mirrors are lovingly crafted from vintage frames, working with the spirit of the frame to rebirth it into a partner in divination. Aphrodite Antheia  refers to the aspect of the goddess of love that is delicate and beautiful like a newly blooming rose. In Roman tradition, the rose represents death and rebirth. In this way, you can utilize the scrying mirror to ask Aphrodite's assistance in healing and moving through a period of stagnancy or death and help return blooming life in a spiritual rebirth. Additionally, the aspects of death and rebirth also make it an excellent ancestral scrying mirror as well. 

We have three styles available: Rectangular, Ripple, Gilded, and Triple-Faced. All styles feature porcelain/ceramic frames with painted pink rose motifs. 
- The Rectangular style includes roses painted on the ceramic surface of the frame; it is 7.5x6 inches and the scrying area measures 4.5x3.25 inches. 
- The Ripple style features a scalloped edge along the border of the porcelain frame and sculpted reliefs of pink roses;  it is 9.5x7.5 inches and the scrying area measures 6.5x4.5 inches.
- The Gilded style features a golden, gilded edge along the outside of the porcelain frame with a painted motif of blooming roses and wildflowers among leaves. This frame is vintage and made in the Royal Albert porcelain style; it is 5x7 inches and the scrying area measures 3x4.5 inches. 

All our scrying mirrors are prepared magically and with intention throughout each step of the crafting process. We begin preparing our materials by cleansing each element with a hand-blended mix of purifying waters. Once the scrying surface has been prepared, it is first marked with a handcrafted bindrune to promote psychic clarity and protection. This bindrune is carefully blended into the deep black of the scrying mirror using 3 separate layers of paint. This ensures an evenly black surface while infusing the mirror with the magic of the number 3, known for its mystical properties, and gently diffusing the magic of the bindrune throughout the entire scrying surface. Once each element has been lovingly prepared and assembled, every mirror is washed with a tea for increased psychic clarity and protection made from hand-blended mixture of herbs centering around Mugwort.
