Italian Ancestor Loose Incense

Our Italian Ancestor ritual loose incense is handmade in small batches with love to call in gli Antenati, the ancestors, through an Italian lens. It can be used by folx with Italian ancestry and those hoping to connect with ancestors of a tradition, such as Italian queer ancestors, ancient Roman priestexes, and more. It is made with tomato vine, grape leaf, lemon balm, basil, oregano, sea salt, frankincense, and cinnamon. All elements are ground down before being washed with orange blossom water, calling in the seaside orchards of Italy, and Italian tobacco cocktail syrup (food safe, no nicotine). All moisture was then allowed to evaporate under the sun.

This incense is made by an Italian-American folk witch for connection to the ancestors of that path. May it call them in fruitfully in your work as well!

Each jar contains approximately 1.7oz of incense. To burn this blend, place the incense on a secondary heat source, such as a lit charcoal disc in a fire-safe container. It can also be burned above a tealight using an incense burner designed with such functions. Please do not leave fire of any sort burning unattended.
