Loki’s Loot is a travel altar box filled with handmade offerings that helps you bring the mischief, merriment, cunning, and confidence of this Trickster with you wherever you go. Each altar kit is perfectly portable and delightfully discreet, making it a perfect fit for witches on the go, those still in the broom closet, and pagans looking for a starter kit for a new altar.

Inside are handmade items to bring you closer to Loki, including:

- Tobacco & tonka bean scented tea light: tobacco is included as a traveler's offering, for pipes smoked while walking and upon returning home; the warmth of homecoming is called in through the scent of tonka bean
- A hand carved and hand painted icon/altar tile of the Snaptun Stone, a historical carving of Loki, done in black polymer clay and painted with red to embody a sturdy black hearthstone reddened with the heat of a fire
- A polymer clay coin of Sleipnir, Loki’s often forgotten child, in pebbled granite gray; Sleipnir is said in myth to be gray in color, while the granite texture calls in the stones once hauled by his father, Svaldifari
- An open-mouthed snake in hand-blended golden green clay and accented in black, calling in the many snakes close to Loki in his myths
- A polymer clay net altar tile made in hand-blended oceanic patterning with a golden net depicted overtop, calling in the first net Loki created when fleeing from the wrathful Aesir
- A polymer clay compass with a bindrune hand-carved into the back. The compass is made in black to represent finding one's way no matter how deep the surrounding darkness may be. The needle of the compass is painted in gold, for the light of a shining torch or the guiding stars above. The compass' hand is painted in red for the steady internal guidance of our hearts and the blood it pumps. This red is echoed on the back, where the carved bindrune is painted with the same shade. Bindrunes and rune staves are often activated with blood, represented here by the red paint, alongside the heat of Loki's fires. The bindrune is the creation of the Trickster's Apothecary and is crafted to protect and guide the wielder on their path to their own unique, true joy
- A torch altar tile made of hand painted polymer clay for Loki's many associations with fire and the star Sirius, known as Lokabrenna (Loki's Torch) to the ancient Norse people
-Loki prayer beads with a teardrop of garnet glass for the blood Loki has shed in his many trials, two light gray lava rock beads for the ash of his fires, rich black lava rock for the dark caves he's associated with and the volcanos he causes to erupt, one polished dragon's vein agate bead with black veins for his protective warmth, one matte dragon's vein agate bead with white veins for the release of suffering he strives to protect others from, and a curled feather at the other end for Loptr, the Airy, one of Loki's kennings/epithets. Each section is separated by a length of golden chain for the guiding light of his fires
- 1 large bottle of mistletoe leaf, for the arrow Loki aimed at Baldr, not of malice, but to keep the wheel of the worlds turning
- 1 small bottle of cinnamon chips, for warmth and comfort

Each tin is 3.5inx2.5inx0.8in.

For an additional way to work with this piece, please consider our prayer card to Loki. It features a vintage depiction of a dragon to represent Loki on the front, while the back includes a prayer written by one of your local tricksters in Loki’s honor. The prayer can be used to consecrate this piece and deepen your connection with Him, while the card itself is an excellent altar card and portable way to keep Loki close to your heart as you go about your day.

Prayer Card

Our Loki prayer card is handmade in devotion to Loki, Mother-Father of Monsters. The front features vintage art of a dragon stamped in red. Dragons and snakes are common features of Loki’s myths, while the art shows hints of the older Urnes style–the art style of the Urnes Snakes, which is a common symbol for Loki in current practice.
