This small batch, ritual loose incense blend honors Bastet, the Feline Protector goddess of Egypt. It is handmade with blue lotus, jasmine, catnip, Egyptian lemongrass, cardamom, juniper berry, and myrrh. This incense is honey cured, inspired by traditional Egyptian kyphi incense, with honey blended by hand evenly through the mixture. It is then compressed into an even layer and allowed to cure for a full lunar cycle before it's broken up and appears as you see in the photos.
Each jar contains approximately 1.7oz of incense. To burn this blend, place the incense on a secondary heat source, such as a lit charcoal disc in a fire-safe container. It can also be burned above a tealight using an incense burner designed with such functions. Please do not leave fire of any sort burning unattended.
