The (Drag) Queen's Boudoir scrying mirror is lovingly crafted from a vintage frame, working with the spirit of the frame to rebirth it into a partner in divination. We have several mirrors available that share the same inclination to working alongside queer ancestors, feeling perfectly at home in a drag queen's boudoir alongside perfumes, feathers, and well-used makeup brushes. It lends itself to scrying into concerns around queer healing, joy, growth, and transformation. It can be potently worked with for contacting queer ancestors and for guidance healing our complete ancestral trees (including the queer ancestors often forgotten).
We have the following styles available: Golden Rhinestone, Backstage Floral, and Glitz.
- Golden Rhinestone features a tortoise-shell pattern framed in gold and rhinestones. It is 7.5x5.5 inches and the scrying surface measures 5.75x3.75 inches.
- Backstage Floral features a vintage floral pattern reminiscent of backstage floral wallpapers, floral dressing gowns donned while prepping for a show, and the bouquets given afterward. It is 7.25x5.25 inches and the scrying surface measures 6.5x4.5 inches.
- Glitz features a pattern of shimmering, swirling glitter framed by glitzy silver accents. It is 7.75x5.5 inches and the scrying surface measures 6.75x4.75 inches.
- Powder Room features an 8-sided frame with glossy pink tiles set in metal, reminiscent of vintage tiles lining a colorful powder room; it is 6x6 inches and the scrying surface measures 3.75x3.75 inches.
All our scrying mirrors are prepared magically and with intention throughout each step of the crafting process. We begin preparing our materials by cleansing each element with a hand-blended mix of purifying waters. Once the scrying surface has been prepared, it is first marked with a handcrafted bindrune to promote psychic clarity and protection. This bindrune is carefully blended into the deep black of the scrying mirror using 3 separate layers of paint. This ensures an evenly black surface while infusing the mirror with the magic of the number 3, known for its mystical properties, and gently diffusing the magic of the bindrune throughout the entire scrying surface. Once each element has been lovingly prepared and assembled, every mirror is washed with a tea for increased psychic clarity and protection made from hand-blended mixture of herbs centering around Mugwort.
