Our Pocket Hekate Brimo Trimorphos statue honors an ancient epithet of Hekate's: Brimo Trimorphos, the Terrible One of Three Forms. This epithet of hers is found in the Orphic Argonautica. Here, Hekate is described as having a terrifying form with having either three bodies or three heads. The heads are those of a horse, a dog and a lion. She was sometimes depicted as a single being, but sometimes also a three-headed monster. We have carved her in this ancient form, nestled inside an alcove. Her central head is that of a lion, with her horse head on the right and dog's head on the left. At the bottom, her robed hands cradle a torch that shines across her forms. In the top right corner, a moon represents her lunar aspects. In the top left, a star represents her connection to the stellar realm through her mother, Asteria. This original design was hand-carved by us before being casted in genuine natural materials using the same process as most pagan statuary.
We have the following statuary materials available:
Each statue is hand-painted with black, gold, and/or red to highlight her features. This statue measures 2.25x1.5x0.5 inches and can fit comfortably in a hand during meditation or a pocket while going about your day.
