Aphrodite Kepoïs Scrying Mirror

Our Aphrodite Kepoïs  scrying mirrors are lovingly crafted from vintage frames, working with the spirit of the frame to rebirth it into a partner in divination. Aphrodite Kepoïs  refers to the aspect of the goddess that is surrounded by beautiful gardens that accentuate the goddess of love; as such, these mirrors show a fondness for scrying into concerns of the Heart, like  Love, Self-Love, Self-Worth, and the relationships that form between any two people. These invokes an iron wrought fence that guards the beautiful rose garden within. In this way, you can utilize the scrying mirror to ask Aphrodite's assistance in protecting and steeling yourself against the outside world to maintain the beauty and light within. 

We have two styles available: Guarding Gate and Bloom Within. 
Guarding Gate is made of a silver-tone metal frame and is reminiscent of the wrought iron fence surrounding Aphrodite's garden, with a motif of roses framing the scrying surface where you may peer into her Garden; it is 7x9 inches and the scrying area measures 3.5x5.5 inches. 
The Bloom Within mirror is made from a painted metal frame featuring magenta rose buds about to blood on winding green stems, with the image cut into flat metal, symbolizing both the iron wrought fence and the blooms within; it is 5.75x5.75 inches and the scrying area measures 3.25x3.25 inches. 

All our scrying mirrors are prepared magically and with intention throughout each step of the crafting process. We begin preparing our materials by cleansing each element with a hand-blended mix of purifying waters. Once the scrying surface has been prepared, it is first marked with a handcrafted bindrune to promote psychic clarity and protection. This bindrune is carefully blended into the deep black of the scrying mirror using 3 separate layers of paint. This ensures an evenly black surface while infusing the mirror with the magic of the number 3, known for its mystical properties, and gently diffusing the magic of the bindrune throughout the entire scrying surface. Once each element has been lovingly prepared and assembled, every mirror is washed with a tea for increased psychic clarity and protection made from hand-blended mixture of herbs centering around Mugwort.
