Aphrodite Epitymbidia Ritual Loose Incense

Our small batch, ritual loose incense blend devoted to Aphrodite Epitymbidia, She upon the Graves. This incense is made with the last rose petals of the season, rescued from decomposition and reborn for spiritual purposes, plucked as they were about to fall both in the wild and the domestic gardens of loved ones. Alongside these petals, which are the heart of this blend, are rose leaf, pomegranate peel, myrrh, red sandalwood, and black pepper. This incense is honey-cured similarly to traditional kyphi incense. Honey, included for its sweetness and as an offering, is worked through the entire blend by hand before it is compacted down and allowed to cure for a lunar cycle. Then, it is broken up into the blend you see, ready to be burned.

Each jar contains approximately 1.7oz of incense. To burn this blend, place the incense on a secondary heat source, such as a lit charcoal disc in a fire-safe container. It can also be burned above a tealight using an incense burner designed with such functions. Please do not leave fire of any sort burning unattended.
