Welcome in the dark tide of the year with our Crown of Antlers necklace. A black deer skull dangles from a gold stainless steel figaro chain interwoven and secured in its Crown of Antlers. Its tines cradle a potent magical symbol that varies across different versions. Perfectly suited to Fall and Winter, this necklace honors both the spirit of the Deer and of Death–a necessary part of the cycle for Rebirth to be brought about in the spring. This necklace functions like a Memento Mori item, a reminder that we all die, but also of the Sovereignty we have over our own lives as we wear our own crown of thorns. Wear this necklace as a reminder of your own empowerment and as an inspiration not to wait to take action–we all wear a Crown of Antlers, but it will always crown our skulls eventually.
The Crown of Antlers is currently available in two styles: Harvest and Starlight. The Harvest style features a bronze acorn suspended between the antlers. The Starlight style features a shimmering, iridescent glass crystal, reminiscent of a drop of starlight forever suspended between the tines.
There are a variety of metals included in this piece, including: gold-tone stainless steel and lead/nickel free alloys. Gold-tone stainless steel is tarnish-resistant and will withstand greater exposure to sunlight and water, however, tarnishing of other metals in the necklace can be avoided with care. To avoid tarnishing, avoid contact with liquids whenever possible and let any cosmetics, lotions, or perfumes/colognes dry completely before putting on your necklace. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keeping your jewelry in a sealed container, such as a jewelry box or plastic bag, can prevent tarnishing by limiting exposure to air, sunlight, heat, and moisture. This is best done if air is pushed out of any plastic bag before sealing and with something included to remove moisture, such as a silica pack or anti-tarnish strip. This is not an exhaustive list of anti-tarnish measures, nor are these measures a guarantee that tarnishing will not occur when worn.
The pendant is 2.75 inches wide by 2.5 inches long and hangs from 16 inches of chain.
