Dark Goddess Rune Set

The Dark Goddess Rune Set features real dried rose petals, gold leaf, and a drop of crimson resin to mimic a drop of blood, with each rune hand-painted in gold. These runes are perfect for work with Dark Goddesses such as Hekate, Bastet, Sekhmet, Freya, Aphrodite, Lilith, Persephone, the Morrigan, Baba Yaga, and others.

The elements included in these runes were hand-picked for their connection to the Dark Goddess archetype:
- Rose petals for beauty and protection: like many Dark Goddesses, roses are both beautiful in bloom and dangerous in thorn.
- Gold leaf for decadence, loveliness, and cost: while gold is gorgeous, it is also expensive and has been the cause of much bloodshed throughout history, showing that beautiful things can come at a cost.
- Drop of faux-blood for offering and understanding: the danger inherent in Dark Goddesses must be acknowledged to work with them, and the drop of "blood" is both a reminder of that lurking danger and an offering to appease it.
