Dionysos Amulet for Liberation

Our Dionysos devotional necklace honors Dionysos, the Greek God of Wine and Religious Ecstasy. It is designed to honor his aspect as Liber, the Roman god of Liberation. Wear this necklace to release your shackles and liberate yourself from unnecessary constrictions by carrying with you a reminder of Dionysos, Liber, and the call toward Liberation. This necklace features two sections of 7 amethyst beads, each hand-wrapped with intention to call in Dionysos' blessings. These sections frame the center pendant, made with vintage brass stampings. One is an arching curve of vining grape and grape leaves, connecting to the amethyst sections. Beneath this piece hangs a small length of chain and a vintage brass stamping of a leopard, one of Dionysos' sacred animals. Dionysos is often depicted wearing a leopard pelt, and this animal calls in his connections with the wild. Let the leopard and Dionysos free you from your shackles as you wear this piece throughout your day.

This necklace measures 21 inches in length. 

Due to the vintage nature of the components in this piece, the two that are currently available are likely to be the only ones made. We do not currently have more of the components used to make this necklace, and while we will search for more should they sell out, we cannot guarantee that we will find more. There are a variety of metals included in this piece, including: gold-tone stainless steel, brass, and lead/nickel free alloys. Gold-tone stainless steel is tarnish-resistant and will withstand greater exposure to sunlight and water, however, tarnishing of other metals in the necklace can be avoided with care. To avoid tarnishing, avoid contact with liquids whenever possible and let any cosmetics, lotions, or perfumes/colognes dry completely before putting on your necklace. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keeping your jewelry in a sealed container, such as a jewelry box or plastic bag, can prevent tarnishing by limiting exposure to air, sunlight, heat, and moisture. This is best done if air is pushed out of any plastic bag before sealing and with something included to remove moisture, such as a silica pack or anti-tarnish strip. This is not an exhaustive list of anti-tarnish measures, nor are these measures a guarantee that tarnishing will not occur when worn.
