The Otherworld divination set is inspired by the Faery homeland featuring real plants and includes options for both an Elder Futhark rune set and a matching rune-based pendulum board. The Fae Otherworld is known by many different names across mythologies, but most agree that the Fae have a homeland separate from our world. To evoke the feeling of that Otherworld, these divination tools are handcrafted using elements associated with the Fae: moss, baby’s breath, orchid bark, and copper leaf. While we have found success using these runes with many types of Fae, we have found that light Fae (such as the Celtic Seelie or Norse Alfar) are more fond of them than their darker cousins.
Available in this divination set are both a full set of Elder Futhark runes with a black Wyrd rune included and a runeboard. Both the rune set and the runeboard can be purchased separately or together.
Runeboards are perfect for use both as altar tiles and pendulum boards. For use as a pendulum board, hold your pendulum above the center of the Vegivisir compass in the center. The pendulum can then be read as it passes over individual runes.
