Glacial Ice - Rune Divination Set

The Glacial Ice Rune Divination Set is inspired by the ice of a glacier and the clear, vibrant blue water that peeks through any cracks in the ice. These runes are perfect for use with any deity associated with winter or cold water, such as Rán, Skadi, or Marzanna. Available in this divination set are both a full set of Elder Futhark runes with a black Wyrd rune included and a runeboard. Both the rune set and the runeboard can be purchased separately or together.

The Glacial Ice Runes feature an icy white top layer, with each rune appearing like a crack in the ice, showing a glimpse of the bright blue, glacial water hidden beneath. The blue water layer is translucent and mimics the vibrant blue water seen when glacial ice melts into run-off.

The Glacial Ice Runeboard is a deeper blue to represent the lower depths of the icy ocean or a deep Northern lake that can be seen through a break in thick winter ice. It is painted with white and a bright blue to show both the snow and ice hiding the blue water of a deep ocean or lake. This runeboard is displayed on top of a slice of birch wood, which we chose as birch trees were the first trees to return to many Northern areas when glaciers retreated in the past.

The Vegivisir compass is placed on a slice of birch wood and is included to aid in divination. Runeboards are perfect for use both as a rune casting mat and pendulum boards. For use as a pendulum board, hold your pendulum above the center of the Vegivisir compass in the center. The pendulum can then be read as it passes over individual runes. This runeboard is 4.5in in diameter.
