Hekate Devotional Earrings

These earrings are handmade in devotion to Hekate, Mother of Witchcraft and Queen of Ghosts, who has long been a friend and teacher to pagans and witches. We offer these earrings to those who work alongside her, to carry her energy and blessings with you throughout your day. Each is made with a gold plated, hypoallergenic lever-back hoop. A genuine freshwater pearl descends from the hoop, calling in Hekate Einalia, Hekate of the Sea: that she may grant you safe travels and gentle waters. Each pearl is framed above and below by both natural hematite and gold-plated hematite, carrying through both the light and darkness Hekate calls home. Below each pearl is a vintage bead, with shining black surrounded by golden edges for Hekate Phosphoros, the Light-Bringer: may she ever be a light in the dark for you!

Each earring utilizes high quality lever backs made of gold plated brass; they are lead and nickel free for those with sensitive ears. These materials can tarnish with use, though this can be avoided with care. To avoid tarnishing, avoid contact with liquids whenever possible and let any cosmetics, lotions, or perfumes/colognes dry completely before putting on your necklace. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keeping your jewelry in a sealed container, such as a jewelry box or plastic bag, can prevent tarnishing by limiting exposure to air, sunlight, heat, and moisture. This is best done if air is pushed out of any plastic bag before sealing and with something included to remove moisture, such as a silica pack or anti-tarnish strip. This is not an exhaustive list of anti-tarnish measures, nor are these measures a guarantee that tarnishing will not occur when worn.
