To imbue each wand with its flavor, a "featured ingredient" is burned by hand into the wooden spoon, with each featured ingredient being a plant or animal that ties into the flavor being imbued into the wand, which is then finished with a charm attached to the handle to anchor the association fully. Each wand is sealed with food-grade wood oil to ensure that the spoon can be used both as a standard wand for directing energy and as a tool for cooking in kitchen witchcraft.
