Morpheus Hypnos Pocket Statue

Our Morpheus Hypnos pocket statue honors the Greek gods of Sleep and Dreams, Hypnos and Morpheus. Hypnos is the God of Sleep, who brings about rest but is often locked in rest himself. Morpheus is the God of Dreams, who makes and brings dreams; Morpheus takes many forms, including that of his father Hypnos, making this miniature statue ideal for work with both deities. This is particularly true as Morpheus often takes over the work of Hypnos when his father is asleep. These statues are carved by hand to call in these deities with their sacred symbols. Bring one with you wherever you lay your head to rest for help sleeping, prophetic dreams, and assistance warding away nightmares. 

Each statue features a gentle face with drowsy eyes framed by the Chthonic wings of Underworld Wisdom in their traditional location, sprouting from the temples. Atop his head, between the wings, is a poppy flower, while a poppy pod lies beneath his chin. Poppies are sacred to Hypnos and Morpheus as they bring relief from pain and rest in the form of sleep; they're a traditional sacred symbol of these deities.

Each statuette measures 1.5x1.5 inches.
