Pewter Pansy - Queer Ancestor Scrying Mirror

Our Pewter Pansy scrying mirrors are lovingly crafted from vintage frames, working with the spirit of the frame to rebirth it into a partner in divination. Each frame is made with silver-tone metal with a scrolling floral pattern along the edge. The silver-tone metal, reminiscent of pewter, draws on the strength of many silver-tone metals like iron, while the floral patterns feature pansies. These mirrors are especially fond of scrying alongside masculine queer ancestors like bears, drag kings, leather daddies, and stone butches. They are particularly skilled with guiding us to find our queer strength, to both protect and hold space for ourselves and others. They also excel in showing us how to treasure our softness, remind us that our thorns guard tender roses, and how to keep a soft heart safe within our tough exteriors.

We have two styles available: Tiered, and Buckle.
- Tiered features tiered levels in the frame with a stamped floral motif; it is 6.25x4 inches and the scrying surface measures 5x3 inches.
- Buckle (Large) features a stamped floral motif frame with an additional metal detail in the corner, reminiscent of a buckle on a belt or leather harness; it is 8x6 inches and the scrying surface measures 6.5x4.5 inches.
- Buckle (Small) features a stamped floral motif frame with an additional metal detail in the corner, reminiscent of a buckle on a belt or leather harness; it is 5x7 inches and the scrying surface measures 3.5x5 inches.

All our scrying mirrors are prepared magically and with intention throughout each step of the crafting process. We begin preparing our materials by cleansing each element with a hand-blended mix of purifying waters. Once the scrying surface has been prepared, it is first marked with a handcrafted bindrune to promote psychic clarity and protection. This bindrune is carefully blended into the deep black of the scrying mirror using 3 separate layers of paint. This ensures an evenly black surface while infusing the mirror with the magic of the number 3, known for its mystical properties, and gently diffusing the magic of the bindrune throughout the entire scrying surface. Once each element has been lovingly prepared and assembled, every mirror is washed with a tea for increased psychic clarity and protection made from hand-blended mixture of herbs centering around Mugwort.
