Pocket Hermes Talisman

Our Pocket Hermes statue is inspired by ancient Mediterranean intaglios: small carved crests carried or worn as amulets to bring the blessing of the Gods with you throughout your day. Based on an antique stamping, this icon is made of clay and features an image of an armored but smiling, youthful Hermes, with long hair peeking out from beneath his pointed helm, decorated with flowers and a wing.

Our pocket statuary is perfect for daily use as you go about your day and bringing your deities with you for longer duration travel. It is perfectly suited to be an altar tile, focus for meditation, or deity representation in a travel altar, altar box, or other contained altar, for those who can’t leave their altars visible for any variety of reasons. 

We have three versions of this statue available: Tarnished Quicksilver, Antique Gold, and Painted Marble. Our Tarnished Quicksilver design is made of silver-tone clay, with the carving brought out with black detailing. Our Antique Gold design is made of gold-tone clay with similar black detailing. Our Painted Marble design, inspired by the paint once seen on ancient marble statues, is made using white clay with accents brought out with both red and gold paint; this design does NOT include the frame around Hermes and is smaller in size. 

Our Tarnished Quicksilver and Antique Gold pocket statues are 2.2 inches tall and 1.9 inches wide. Our Painted Marble pocket statues are 1.7 inches tall and 1.4 inches wide.
