Pocket Persephone Statue
Pocket Persephone Statue
Our Pocket Persephone Statue depicts the Greek goddess Persephone, Queen of the Underworld. Persephone is carved here referencing an ancient Etruscan statue of her. A small halo-like crown rests atop her head, mirroring this statue. Her curling golden hair is also originally from this ancient statue of her. She rests nestled inside an alcove, with a partially opened pomegranate at her throat. This original design was hand-carved by us before being casted in genuine natural materials using the same process as most pagan statuary.
We have the following statuary materials available:
- Bonded charcoal
- Bonded garnet: Please note that bonded garnet has a unique appearance. Due to the weight and translucence of the powdered stone, this statuary has two tones. The face of this statuary is darker, where large portions of the stone settled due to weight, while the background is lighter and translucent with darker flecks of stone interspersed among the red tone.
Each statue is hand-painted with black, gold, and/or red to highlight her features. This statue measures 2x1.5x1 inches and can fit comfortably in a hand during meditation or a pocket while going about your day.
